Mötley Crüe have released a new single, Dogs Of War.
Driven by a heavy guitar riff, the Bob Rock-produced track marks the legendary rock band's first since their split with co-founding member Mick Mars, who was replaced by former Rob Zombie guitarist John 5 in late 2022.
It also serves as Crue's first new music in five years, following The Dirt from their 2019 Netflix biopic of the same name, and follows their recent signing with Nashville's Big Machine Records. Check out the accompanying animated video below. Bassist Nikki Sixx said:
"It’s always great getting back in the studio with the guys in the band. We know you’re gonna like this one."
Rock, who also produced Crüe's 1989 album 'Dr. Feelgood', added: "Working with the band on the new song was the easiest session I have ever had with them… The Crüe is the best they have ever been! And they have plenty of new stuff in store."
The band will kick off a run of summer US shows with two dates in Atlantic City, New Jersey next week (May 3 and 4). The tour includes headlining slots at Welcome To Rockville in Daytona Beach; Florida, Summerfest in Milwaukee; Wisconsin, Ottawa Bluesfest in Ottawa; Ontario, Louder Than Life in Kentucky in September, and Aftershock festival in Sacramento in October.
Crüe released their most recent studio album, 'Saints Of Los Angeles', in 2008.
